"Carnival"

(Charlotte, NC) – Today, Jim Pendergraph for Congress announced the release of a new radio ad that is running on WBT in rotation with an ad already released titled, "Conservative Republican".  

Campaign Manager, Neal Harrington commented, “Pittenger's latest radio ad attacking Jim on immigration and taxes is a continuation of Pittenger's distorted reality of the truth.

Jim was the first Sheriff on the east coast to implement the 287(g) program that has identified more than 13,000 criminal illegal aliens and placed them into processing for deportation in Mecklenburg County. Educating illegals in Mecklenburg County alone cost taxpayers approximately $100 million annually.

Pittenger's ad also attacks Jim and every Republican County Commissioner for recently cutting taxes of every Charlotte resident, including Pittenger, by voting to require Mecklenburg County residents living outside the Charlotte city limit to pay for their own fire services, which Charlotte residents had been footing the bill. Does Pittenger support raising taxes of every Charlotte resident to pay for the services of residents outside the city limit like Jim? Pittenger has spent the 3rd most money of any Congressional candidate in the country during this campaign trying to buy a seat in Congress.
