Neal Harrington, a political fundraising entrepreneur and leader in the advancement of political fundraising technology, has worked in politics for 10 years managing fundraising operations for federal, state, and local campaigns. He is the founder of Harrington Forward Thinking (HFT), which manages the lifecycle of political fundraising operations for conservative candidates and campaigns.
In 2008, Neal and his team rebuilt and then managed Pat McCrory's 2008 gubernatorial campaign fundraising operation which resulted in raising $4.7 million in 6 months; increasing contributions by 191% while expanding the numbers of donors by 513%. In 2009, Harrington managed John Lassiter's Mayoral campaign in Charlotte, NC raising more than $600,000 for the campaign. In 2010, Harrington managed the NC Republican House Caucus fundraising operation helping them win back control of the NC General Assembly; Mark Neumann's gubernatorial campaign in WI increasing contributions by 76% and the number of donors by 300%; and Andrew Murray's successful Mecklenburg County District Attorney campaign raising more than seven times his opponent. Neal continues to provide fundraising consulting to multiple campaigns including Dan Forest for NC Lt. Governor, Dan Barry for Congress (NC-08), Ethan Wingfield for Congress (NC-11), and Rick Perry for President.
Most recently, Neal has been contracted to manage the fundraising operation for Jim Pendergraph, who is running for NC's 9th Congressional district, a seat held by Congresswoman Sue Myrick who just recently announced her retirement.
In addition to Harrington's fundraising management and consultation, Neal is also the creator of The Harrington Network (HSN) - a social network for the political industry. Neal has also developed political fundraising software. The Harrington Account Center (HAC) offers a complete set of fundraising and political management tools that can be purchased individually or as a package.
Harrington's most recent venture is Red Stampede - his new company that was created to harness the supporter-enabling and fundraising potential of the Internet. Red Stampede officially launched on July 12, 2011.
